This policy explains what personal data Decenterlab FZCO (“we”, “us”) collects through decenterlab.com, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

What we collect and why

Contact form

When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask, to discuss working together. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, the correspondence becomes part of our contract records and is kept as long as the law requires.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use this data to identify you.

Traffic statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, pages viewed, referring sites and visitors’ countries. It doesn’t use cookies or local storage and doesn’t track you across sites or visits, so it runs without asking for consent. We only see aggregate figures, never data about individual visitors.

Cookies

If you accept cookies in the banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived and roughly where they are. Google Analytics sets these cookies:

The legal basis is your consent. If you decline, Google Analytics isn’t loaded at all and no data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with , also in the footer. We don’t use advertising cookies.

The site also stores two small values in your browser’s local storage: your cookie choice, and the time you last sent the contact form, which stops repeated submissions within a minute. Neither is sent to us or used to track you.

Who else processes your data

These providers may process data outside the UAE and the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We don’t sell your personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
